Rainy day ideas for the North Oregon Coast

It's raining, what should we do? Where do we go? As soon as fall comes, we find ourselves asking these questions. Luckily there is still plenty to do when visiting the north Oregon Coast. First on your list should be warming up in our bathrobes by our fireplaces and in our jacuzzi tubs. Storm watching from the safety of indoors can be awfully exciting. If you need some ideas to get yourself out and about in town, here are some starting with Seaside, and continuing on to Cannon Beach and a few in Tillamook.

Keep in mind that businesses have winter hours as well as COVID guidelines they are adhering to, check their individual websites for details and for hours.

Some rainy day inspiration (North to South)

Seaside:

Times Theatre and Public House: They aren't currently showing movies, but they are showing sports games on their big movie screen starting at 5 pm.

Funland Arcade: Bumper cars, arcade games, food, and more.

Cannon Beach:

Art galleries in Cannon Beach: a great way to enjoy local art and perhaps take some home with you!

Cannon Beach Book Company: come browse their selection. Open every day but Sunday.

Cannon Beach Escape Room: great family/friends activity. Especially when you need an activity idea for the evening.

Tillamook:

Tillamook Cheese Factory: some places are closed to the public, but you can still order ice cream and buy cheese. What else is important?

Tillamook Air Museum: this is a fabulous museum for all ages. There is a small collection of cars and fire trucks as well as airplanes. Kids will love the blimp with aliens painted on the side.
